WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE
Our goal is not only to bring beautiful and unique products that attendees love to take home, but to provide a fun gallery experience. Our work is jam-packed with loving detail that can be appreciated for years and years. We take our time to craft illustrations that show care and attention that attendees can relate to and appreciate. As fans, we believe that making attendees feel accepted and seen is a key part of the anime con experience!
FOSTERING ORIGINALITY
When you have seen all there is to see, all that's left is to create something new. One great byproduct of fan work is the opportunity to explore what you enjoy personally as an artist and use those elements in your own unique creations. We use original concepts to exercise our creativity as well as help others to realize theirs through commission and client work.
UNIQUE TREASURES
"I've never seen anything like this before!" Is our most received and proudest comment from attendees. Our wide offering of useful and practical products features unique designs that we innovated. Showing attendees something they've never seen before and bringing wonder and excitement to their con experience is what motivates us to create the next new find for them!
SETTING IT UP
We started participating in artist alleys back in 2016 and learned all the ins and outs of setting up as we grew. Following artist alley guidelines is an important display of professionality for us, and we always ensure that our displays are tested and stable. We have different set-ups depending on the space given and are always considerate of our neighbors!
Who is Cat Crossing? Cat Crossing is the meeting of two childhood friends who have been drawing together since they were 4 years old! From crayons on lined paper, we've evolved into a professional collaboration of detailed linework framed against beautiful, atmospheric backgrounds.
Based on the East Coast, we are part of the local anime convention community. We have illustrated and staffed for cons including AnimeNEXT, Otakon, Zenkaikon, Kogaracon, and Kotoricon. We hope you enjoy our work as much as we enjoy creating it! |
